George Boddington
George Boddington is president of Policy Concepts Inc. He focuses on the development of strategies to assist organizations in achieving their public affairs or government relations objectives.
During the mid-1970's and early 80's, he was Executive Assistant to the Ontario Minister of Energy, Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Health and Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Food. In the 90's, he helped develop the Progressive Conservative platform, the Common Sense Revolution, and served in the successful Progressive Conservative election campaign in 1995 as part of the campaign management. He also played a key role on Premier Michael Harris's transition team. In the run-up to the 1999 election, he again participated in the campaign strategy group and management team.
His extensive consulting experience with major industry associations, public and private sector corporations and his previous experience in the Ontario Government give him an in-depth knowledge of the public, media and regulatory environments.
He was born in Toronto and educated at the University of Toronto Schools (UTS). He received his Bachelor of Arts and post-graduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
Peter Regenstreif
Peter Regenstreif, Ph.D., is a partner in Policy Concepts.
Regenstreif has been involved with the Liberal party for over 30 years and with Dalton McGuinty and his team from the time McGuinty was chosen leader. He participated in the Niagara-on-the-Lake Policy Conference in 2001 which led to the platform for the 2003 election campaign. For that campaign, he media trained candidates and served on the provincial Communications group. In the 2007 campaign he was part of the fund-raising team.
Regenstreif generates strategies to help private sector clients manage their relations with government and with the public. He also works with governments to help them communicate their programs and has served several departments of the federal government in both Canada and the United States. He has managed campaigns for public office in every arena in North America.
As well, Regenstreif has extensive research experience as a public opinion analyst across North America.
Regenstreif was born in Montreal, received his undergraduate degree in political science and economics at McGill and his doctorate in government from Cornell.
Arthur Lofsky
Arthur Lofsky joined the office of Finance Minister Greg Sorbara as a Policy Advisor in 2003. He was involved in auto insurance reforms, property tax policy and financial services. In 2006, Arthur became Director of Policy to Sorbara and continued in that position after the 2007 election with Finance Minister Dwight Duncan.
Arthur was instrumental in the policy development process for the 2007 and 2008 Ontario provincial budgets. He also worked on the formulation, introduction and passage of the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006, and Credit Unions Act, 2007.
In addition, while at Finance, Arthur acted as the Minister's liaison with the Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA) and other leaders in the financial sector.
Prior to the election of the McGuinty government, Arthur was Executive Assistant to MPP Mike Colle.
His ten years experience at Queen's Park has given him a deep understanding of the government, its operations and key personnel.
Arthur has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and an Economics degree from the University of Toronto.
Andrew Boddington
Andrew Boddington is a senior consultant with Policy Concepts Inc. He specializes in the development of strategic policy solutions for clients working at both the federal and provincial levels of government.
Prior to joining Policy Concepts, Andrew spent three years working in Ottawa as a federal political consultant. During this time Andrew was named one of the "Top 100 Lobbyists" by the Hill Times two years in a row. Through his detailed understanding of the decision making process, Andrew developed a successful track record in serving clients in the financial services and health care sectors.
Prior to working in government relations, Andrew worked for the Conservative Party of Canada where he liaised with Conservative MPs and their staff from across the country.
In addition to his federal activities, Andrew has been extensively involved in Ontario provincial politics, most recently serving as Campaign Manager to Christine Elliott in her bid to become Leader of the Ontario PC Party. During the last Progressive Conservative government Andrew worked in the Office of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities as well as in the Office of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Andrew holds an Honours degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
